  problemaddict - Its a wash, we won the first game against you and lost the second.

  Also, both teams we have in common Chiefs/Oakland - Both Broncos and Chargers won against them - 2 wins over the Chiefs and 1 win over Oakland - no surprise with Oakland. If we play again, it will be a good one.

  recently my sister posted on facebook a list of bible verses/scriptures for different situations in life.

  my reply was "have you gotten religious?

  " i have never known my sister to be religious in her entire life.

  Lol. So your sayin non-JW people who are religious are just as bassackwards as the witnesses?

  My boss knows my situation as an x-JW. He also knows I’m an atheist. He tells me I’m going to hell unless I accept Jesus back in my heart. He ribs me and I do the same back about his beliefs. Some, like my boss, can give and take criticism. Some can’t. Religion, for the most part, makes people nutty.

  have you seen the jw child who grows up to be the ideal product of the cult from its point of view, and presumably from its indoctrinated parent's point of view?.

  that young person is a weirdo !!!.

  i can think of a number like this, still a minority fortunately, in that most of the ones i watched grow up either left or did not embrace the thing anywhere near 100%.. but those one-hundred-percenter kids are something to behold !.

  I don’t know about everyone else here, but those kids made up maybe 10 to 20 % of the “young ones” in the halls I went to. While I was growing up, they were the ones that were rarely invited to the “normal” “cool” kid’s activities. They do make for a good laugh though.

  I agree with Syme, that it is most likely biology, not just the cult upbringing.... but it certainly doesn’t help.
